An Enterprise Zone (EZ) proposal for Bognor Regis in Coastal West Sussex has been selected by the Coast to Capital (C2C) Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) for a formal submission to Government. NLP worked with Arun DC to develop the proposition and prepare bid documentation. The LEP unanimously decided to take forward the Bognor Regis proposal, in preference to three other bids.
The Bognor Regis bid is an excellent one, and like all the proposals has clarity of purpose and great ambition. It is now for all to get behind the Bognor Regis proposal as it presents a real opportunity to create an EZ in the C2C area and help realise the potential of the South Coast. I am confident that the proposal will be received positively by government.
The full bid will be submitted to Government by the end of June.
