NLP Make Strides in Somerset

September 21, 2011

This year's NLP annual walk took place in the Somerset Levels around Cheddar Gorge and surrounding countryside. NLP walkers set off on the 10th September and over the weekend hiked some 20 miles across the fields and through villages in the area, stopping off for light refreshments on route. Fortunately, the weather just about held up, except for one downpour, after which the skies cleared to reveal some breathtaking views down to the south coast. Walk complete, the group retired to the pub for a hearty meal and a well earned rest.

The walk was a great success and provided an opportunity for staff from each of the offices to meet up in an informal environment. Plans are already afoot for next year's walk!
