NLP has submitted a planning application, on behalf of Wilbury Developments Ltd, for three executive houses at Fernhill in the County Durham Green Belt. The application follows extensive discussions with officers at Durham County Council and is accompanied by a suite of evidence including an Executive Housing Statement, Visual Analysis and an Alternative Site Assessment all prepared by NLP. The houses were designed by JDDK and the landscaping scheme prepared by SBA Landscaping.
our planning case involves demonstrating that there are very special circumstances for this Green Belt release. The site is physically and visually separated from the surrounding countryside, performs no Green Belt function and will meet the County’s unmet demand for executive houses in a sustainable location on the edge of Durham City.
