On behalf of Welsh Power Group Limited, NLP has secured planning permission for a 10 megawatt embedded reserve power generation facility within Portmanmoor Road Industrial Estate, Cardiff Bay. All conditions attached to the planning consent have also been successfully discharged.
As well as being capable of meeting the energy needs of 10,000 local homes and businesses, the development will secure a viable future for a vacant unit within a declining industrial estate.
This was the first commission that NLP undertook on behalf of Welsh Power Group, which has a successful track record of delivery in all aspects of energy from project development and construction through to energy supply.
