150 High Street, Stratford

Daylight, sunlight and overshadowing analyses were undertaken as part of the Environmental Impact Assessment prepared for this high profile, mixed use development adjacent to London’s Olympic Park.

The development comprises the construction of seven new buildings, including a 43 storey landmark tower. The scheme accommodates commercial and community floorspace and over 650 residential units, plus landscaped amenity space and a riverside walkway.

NLP’s comprehensive daylight and sunlight assessment included analysis of the natural light levels received by 3,226 windows serving 1,670 rooms within existing and proposed residential accommodation. The development’s effects on the sunlight experienced within gardens and amenity space were also assessed.

The development is currently under construction.
