NLP is working on behalf of Commercial Estates Group on a unique mixed use development at Carlyon Bay on the Cornish Coast.
The development comprises over 500 new houses, 10,000 sq m of commercial/leisure floorspace and new sea defences. Following a committee resolution to grant planning permission subject to a legal agreement, the Secretary of State confirmed that the application would not be called in.
NLP prepared a Planning Performance Agreement with Cornwall Council, to agree the process for the submission of the planning application. Our role also included the co-ordination of an Environmental Impact Assessment and organising and designing an extensive programme of public consultation including liaison with local groups and statutory consultees.
