Edenfield
NLP secured planning permission for an extension to the Edenfield Hospital complex, which is designated as a Major Developed Site in the Green Belt. Importantly, given the sites location, NLP successfully confirmed acceptability against established Green Belt policy and compatibility with the surrounding built form.
Prestwich Hospital
NLP obtained planning permission for the erection of a Step Down Unit, ancillary facilities, car parking and access to provide for the transitional stage between the secure environment of Edenfield and home. NLP secured planning permission for a replacement Adolescent Unit to provide specialist assessment, treatment and educational facilities for 12-18 years olds.
NLP worked closely with Bury Council to deliver these key mental health and social care services for the Greater Manchester and North West Region.
