Enterprise Zone Bids

NLP was appointed by a number of public and private sector clients to advise on the potential for Enterprise Zones as part of the Government’s invitation to Local Enterprise Partners (LEPs) announced in the March 2011 budget.

Working to the short timeframes for submitting proposals by end of April 2011 and full bids by end of June 2011, NLP prepared evidence to respond to the key Communities and Local Government (CLG) criteria, including masterplanning and advice on scheme feasibility, Tax  Increment  Financing (TIF) and economic impacts. NLP also prepared branding and Expression of Interest documentation.

NLP's breadth of skills and depth of resources were vital in building the compelling economic, property and planning case for the LEP's EZ submission to Government. Working to tight, immovable deadlines, the NLP team delivered on time, added value, and provided a flexible, responsive service. I have no doubt that their input was critical in ensuring we put forward the strongest possible case.
