NLP prepared two Daylight, Sunlight and Overshadowing Assessments to accompany successful applications for planning permission for the development of an Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) at Four Ashes Industrial Estate. The scope of the assessments included the effects of the development on surrounding buildings, areas of open space and landscaping within the application site, and at neighbouring sites. The assessments demonstrated that the development was acceptable under the Buiding Research Establishment's Guidance on Daylight and Sunlight.
