NLP has advised London Biggin Hill Airport for over 17 years. Over that time it has established the airport’s entitlement to Part 18 General Permitted Development Order rights, prepared reports assessing the economic importance of the airport as well as strategies for guiding future development of the airport and assisted in airport safeguarding through monitoring development proposals in the area. It has secured approvals for key infrastructure projects including large scale hangarage, an emergency services building and a new hotel, as well as other minor development essential for the safe operation of the Airport.
NLP produced an economic impact study to support the Airport's status as a Strategic Outer London Development Centre in the London Plan, prepared an investment prospectus for the LoCATE@Biggin Hill business growth initiative and advised the initiative's partners on how to maximise its economic potential.
