NLP has worked with the owners of Panshanger Airfield to consider the opportunities for redevelopment of this Green Belt site in Welwyn Hatfield.
This was informed by a Public Consultation Strategy. NLP’s graphics team designed an exhibition system and supporting material for a public consultation event at the airfield.
The exhibition, which sought to gather the views of the local community on potential housing development at the airfield, and ran alongside Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council’s consultation period on its options for future housing development in the Borough. Nearly 400 people attended the exhibition over the three events.
A master plan was subsequently prepared and representations made to the LPA’s core strategy, to bring this Green Belt site forward as a strategic site for housing with community facilities.
