A comprehensive daylight and sunlight assessment has recently been completed for this large mixed use development in Bow, Tower Hamlets.
The assessment considered the development’s effects on the daylight and sunlight levels received by neighbouring residential properties and their gardens. The levels of natural light that would be received by 133 windows serving habitable rooms within the proposed residential accommodation was also modelled and assessed.
The assessment was based on consideration of Vertical Sky Component, Average Daylight Factor, Annual and Winter Sunlight Availability and transient and permanent overshadowing.
