On behalf of Taylor Wimpey UK Limited, NLP has secured the approval of outline planning permission to provide 450 dwellings, local shops and open space on land at Haydock Grange, Preston, subject to the completion of a Section 106 Agreement. The permission comes just months after the refusal of a rival housing scheme in the locality and despite significant local objections to the proposals.
The approval means that NLP has now delivered planning permission for 1100 properties in the last couple of months in the North-West on behalf of Taylor Wimpey.
We are extremely pleased to have secured approval for this much needed housing development. We have worked closely with Officers at Preston City Council to deliver a development to meet the Council's shortfall in housing, provide significant highways infrastructure improvements and bring significant economic investment into Preston.
