Lakeside Shopping Centre, owned by Capital Shopping Centres, is celebrating 21 years of providing exceptional shopping and leisure facilities to our community.

The next step in Lakeside Shopping Centre's evolution is our exciting proposals to help Thurrock deliver its vision for the Lakeside Basin area as a new regional town centre. This website is designed to provide an update on progress with these plans.

Our proposals have been shaped by feedback from customers, residents and the local community, including a three day public exhibition at the the shopping centre held between Thursday 20th - Saturday 22nd October 2011. Following this feedback we have now finalised our plans and submitted an outline planning application to Thurrock Thames Gateway Development Corporation for the proposals.
